Questions
- What is AI recruiting?
- AI recruiting uses software to do the volume work of a search: finding candidates across many sources, enriching their profiles, writing personalized outreach and ranking people against the role. It is usually sold as software your team runs. AI Talent Partner is AI recruiting as a service: we run the AI and the outreach for you, and you interview the candidates who are interested.
- How much does AI recruiting cost?
- AI recruiting software is typically priced per seat or per month, and still needs someone on your team to run it. AI Talent Partner is priced per open role: $1,000 a role a month for the first three, falling to $850 from the twelfth, plus a $1,000 one-time setup. Every engagement starts with three role slots, and there is no placement fee however many people you hire.
- Does AI replace recruiters?
- Not well. AI is very good at searching, writing and ranking at volume, and that is most of the hours in a search. It is not good at deciding what a role really needs, reading a hesitant reply, or keeping a candidate engaged through a slow process. We use AI for the first and people for the second.
- Is AI recruiting better than using a recruiting agency?
- It depends on how many roles you have. For one or two hires a year, a contingency agency that you pay only on a hire can make sense. If you have several roles open, or hire through the year, a flat monthly cost per role stops the fee repeating with every hire, and you see the whole pipeline instead of only a shortlist.
- Do you screen candidates by phone?
- No. We answer every reply, rank candidates against your role with the evidence, and send interested candidates to your booking link. You interview them and you decide. We do not run recruiter phone screens.
- What kinds of roles does it work for?
- Professional and leadership roles, where the strongest candidates are employed and need to be approached rather than waited for. It is not temp, hourly or per-diem staffing.
